No big deal fellas. I pledge not to post minor league material in this folder.

Reflecting on the series, have to note that Travis Hafner was pumped up and key in the two wins.

The triple off the wall that led to the win on Tuesday, and the game tying bomb that pumped us up tonight.

We're movin' on up.

(we lost Sherman Hemsley.....George Jefferson......this week)

Maybe Travis Hafner will show his worth of his entire long term contract in the next 2012 days.....

The Cleveland Indians kaleidoscope of players is in play that can get this team to the post season.

Record shows that this is a .500 club against the best teams in the AL.

Record shows that this team is VERY tough to watch and NOT exciting but stays competitive.

.500 is the worst place to be in sports. Can't make the playoffs and can't rebuild easily through the draft.

Same story as last year but terrible off season this year. $5M for Sizemore and Lowe each and NO Willingham? Aweful, just aweful. If your going to get Jimenez go all in PERIOD. Tribe brass half assed it and don't blame Dolan, shiparo and Antonotti had the money just spent it poorly!!!

Now what to do? I say go for it! Get Soriano (thanks rusty) and Headly. Trade Tomlin and Gomez and middle Inf/relief pitching talent.....

That gives us this year and next! If you aren't going to go out and get a couple of legit bats trade Choo and even Perez now while they have value. Neither are going to re-sign with Cleveland that's for sure!!!

Thoughts? Personally I'm just sick of being stuck at .500......

Heads up move by Asdrubal last nite in the 7th. His hit to the right fielder, right fielder comes up gunning for home. But Fielder cuts the throw, Asdrubal rounds 1st headed for 2nd. Sure out!! But nobody is covering 2nd. Safe at 2nd. Yes. 2 heads up on that play, one by Asdrubal, the other by Fielder. Good thinking on the cutoff.

Okay - who are you, and what have you done with Frank? (j/k)

Actually a very well thought out post and a pretty good take on things IMO.

Nobody else following the game tonight?
We were at an "Italian" restaurant I doubt we will rush back to again for dinner. I noted the score was 3-0.

Then we meandered to an Irish Bar and as I quaffed a Black and Tan, I noted the score had gone to 8-0.

So I had another Black and Tan. And hoped we might have one of those comebacks like we had against Seattle in the early days of this place.

Didn't work out.

Best part of the night was that in our legit Irish Bar the legit Irish Bar Lass promised me that if we visit the place on St. Patrick's Day I won't miss the Irish Bar scene in San Francisco as much as I sometimes think I might.

Then my wife and I watched the Opening Ceremonies of The Olympics with her as we were eventually the only (out of season) customers. The Irish Lass, much younger than me, was "into it" as Her Majesty entered the place.

I just thought of Bobby Sands.

I guess time does heal wounds.

Echoing Mt Fan, nice post Frank.

.500 is indeed not as fun as a season could be, but it is a heck of a lot better than most Cleveland Indian Seasons of my lifetime.

We went balls to the wall to get Ubaldo last season.

I'm all for going balls to the wall again to try to make the post season.

Our competitors are not that formidable, and we could get lucky.

Or good. Or good and lucky.
