Nobody else following the game tonight?
We were at an "Italian" restaurant I doubt we will rush back to again for dinner. I noted the score was 3-0.
Then we meandered to an Irish Bar and as I quaffed a Black and Tan, I noted the score had gone to 8-0.
So I had another Black and Tan. And hoped we might have one of those comebacks like we had against Seattle in the early days of this place.
Didn't work out.
Best part of the night was that in our legit Irish Bar the legit Irish Bar Lass promised me that if we visit the place on St. Patrick's Day I won't miss the Irish Bar scene in San Francisco as much as I sometimes think I might.
Then my wife and I watched the Opening Ceremonies of The Olympics with her as we were eventually the only (out of season) customers. The Irish Lass, much younger than me, was "into it" as Her Majesty entered the place.
I just thought of Bobby Sands.
I guess time does heal wounds.

Mt Fan, nice post

.500 is indeed not as fun as a season
could be, but it is a heck of a lot better than most Cleveland Indian Seasons of my lifetime.
We went balls to the wall to get Ubaldo last season.
I'm all for going balls to the wall again to try to make the post season.
Our competitors are not that formidable, and we could get lucky.
Or good. Or good and lucky.
