That guy has surprised me this year.

Still not sure it makes up for Valbuena not panning out when we traded Gutierrez, but I`ll take it.

I had to refresh on that trade and note that Ezequiel Carrera was in the three team deal.
Indeed he was. I had missed that connection.

Indians did not acquire him until they traded Russel Branyan.

I`m still stumped to this day why the Mariners gave anything of value for Branyan.

I think a water cooler would have more value to this team than Austin Kearns.

I know left handed pitchers always seem to find a way of keeping a job but I don't recall many right handed hitters that were fortunate enough to last on a team with these numbers.
