JRod down. AMart up.
Rodriguez went 0-5 with 3 strikeouts. There wasn't a role for him with Jones and Noel sharing RF, granted that neither is doing much offensively.
It makes sense to add a player who can play IF or OF and Martinez is a switch=hitter. And had a good first week in Columbus, 11-32 with 6 doubles; although 0 walks. 2 games at 2nd base; 2 in LF; 2 in CF.

But he's fat and out of shape. Can't field either.

4 runs off Lively and a 4-2 loss. No sweep.

After getting good press, Arias and Martinez were each 0-3 with 2 strikeouts.

Guardians hitters struck out 14 times and drew No walks. For the season team has 127K [ranking 8th] and 55 walks [ranking 7th]. Last season they finished #13 in strikeouts 1196/466 walks: 2.5:1 ratio, This year 2.2:1 ratio so it's actually it's a bit better. In 2023 the numbers were 1142:471, 2.4:1 so my thought that they'd become more aggressive last season is Wrong
