It's weird - Jose has a way of getting what he wants.

I watched an at bat yesterday closely where the pitcher was clearly pitching around him. Fine - but if he makes a mistake at all - and he missed his location a couple times - Jose is ON it.

We tend to forget that major league pitchers often miss their targets. Most hits are on mistakes.

Oh and didn't they walk him once? He went to 2nd base on a steal then 3rd on the overthrow? Or was that the game before?? So they gave him a triple in effect.

Sloppy start, classy finish Wednesday. Amazing run and dive by Kwan saves two runs. De los Santos, Sandlin and Stephan were all rocky but Shaw and Clase finished up nicely.

Straw was 0-5 and is now hitting 212 and probably should be dropped from 1st to 9th; but Rosario stayed hot with single, double, triple; JOse had 4 hits; Gonzalez and Miller with Sac Flies, Naylor and Mercado RBI hits. Everyone contributes on this team.

Morgan's work in the 7th was the key to the ballgame. Came in after Shaw put 3 men on and got out of the inning on 8 pitches, letting just one score. And raced through the 8th on only 8 more pitches.
