Bottom of the order ready to get the rally going for the Tribe in the 5th. 2 of the 3 best batting averages of the starting 9 are the 7th and 8th hitters: those terrors of the plate, Jordan Luplow and Tyler Naquin. the 3 infielders who are hitting 1-2-3 today are hitting 234-179-186, and did yield our only two baserunners, with a pair of walks.

Tito also said he has 2 "wipeout" pitches.

That plays in a bullpen role ....anywhere. Him setting up Brad Hand sounds amazing. And Wittgren has already been a great addition.

I'm not surprised no one posted during that travesty. Against the most hittable pitcher in the league, our bunch managed a whole lot of singles, one doubles, and left runners constantly on base. With this incompetent office, we cannot get by with any bad starts; virtual no chance for something like an 8-7 win. So if Bauer and Carrasco and Bieber are not perfect we'll soon slip below .500.

It's beginning to look time to trade the few tradeable components, i.e. Bauer, and move on.

And I'll add on to this civ.

The Twins are really, really good.

Some really good adds (I will repeat though their payroll is the same as the Tribe) and an under the radar add of manager Rocco Baldelli.

Now I have to add the apparent really good add of Martin Perez to their rotation. Yikes!

Oh yeah, I agree, this is a July issue if they are looking hopeless.

Look they were looking to deal a starter in the offseason, so at the very least they'd likely look at takers for Bauer at the deadline.
