Tyler Naquin 3-4 with a walk tonight. I think every hit has been an RBI hit too. Something like 4 RBI tonight. Kinda hard to keep track at this point.
19-2 in the 7th.

22202And of course I'm on at an MLB black out because you know 5 hours away is local viewing.
Listening to the radio for the 3rd and 4th inning on the way was pleasant.

22204After we lead 20! Edwin hit a solo homer and Lindo scored on a single by Jose, who was caught stealing.
Re: GameTime!™
22205I keep waiting for an opposing manager to ask for one of Jose or Lindor's bats.
All we need is Jason Grimsley to be the cat burglar.

Re: GameTime!™
22206well we scored more against Severino than I had expected, and the rest of the Yankees starters are beatable, but we better get leads early because we're not going to win a battle of the bullpens

22207Hmm, showcasing?
Shane Bieber - S - Indians
Indians optioned RHP Shane Bieber to Triple-A Columbus.
This is only being done as a procedural move to allow the Indians to have an extra bench bat for a couple of days until the All-Star break. Bieber will be back and remain in the Indians' rotation following the break. The 23-year-old hurler has done a nice job in his first seven starts, going 5-1 with a 3.53 ERA, 1.34 WHIP and 42/8 K/BB ratio over 43 1/3 innings.
Francisco Mejia - DH - Indians
Indians recalled C/OF Francisco Mejia from Triple-A Columbus.
Mejia is in the Indians' lineup on Saturday, serving as the designated hitter and batting sixth. He's only expected to remain with the club until the All-Star break

22209Huge win today. Bauer continues to amaze - the best 8-6 pitcher ever.
And sure was a luxury having Carrasco out of the bullpen!

Re: GameTime!™
22210Good point about Carlos coming out of the bullpen. Again, I think that with the young arms we have, I push Salazar into the pen to make room for the kids in the starting rotation. As Carlos is 31, I could also see trading him in the off season for needs.

Re: GameTime!™
22211I think Carrasco could make a really good reliever; would they consider him as the closer in 2019?
Unfortunately I'm not counting on Salazar for anything.

Re: GameTime!™
22213Kipnis with 2 run shot to give us the lead. Man, would it be nice if he got it going the second half.
Re: GameTime!™
22214Bauer didn’t have his curveball early and got smacked around. But found it after giving up 3. Hopefully he can hold it there.
Re: GameTime!™
22215Hey. There was a better at bat by Roberto Perez too. He struck out on 5 pitches instead of 3 or 4.
