No Miller makes for quite a mess at the end of the game. Olson blew a lead. Allen was worn out with 41 pitches. Wouldn't use McAllister who's been terrible lately. Wouldn't use Goody who gave up 3 on Sunday. Wouldn't use Otero who's been inconsistent. Of all people Beliveau was called on to face Joey Gallo with tying runs on and after a struggle he retired him for his second career save.

We are basically working with a 2 man bullpen, one of whom is on the DL. After Allen's long outing yesterday we need a complete game from Clevinger today.

Wouldn't surprise to see a callup today.

Totally agree civ that this bullpen is in disarray without Miller. In a rare statement the offense saved the day today.

On a great not - Bauer. Are you kidding me? This guy, since midway last season, is breaking out in a major way and he's still only 27. Right now that's a ridiculous top 3 starters.

Also signs of a pulse from Kipnis who evidently left his hits in the Phoenix area when he tore it up. I do expect him, if healthy of course, to go back to being the usual Kipnis we saw before last season.

Yeah, I really like the way Bauer has developed. His unique approach works for him. He really pushes himself to achieve. He still needs to work on keeping the pitch counts down so he can last longer. He's the only Tribe starter without a complete game. [I don't count Tomlin.] Whoever were the manager and GM and pitching coach in Arizona who couldn't work with him and gave him away after 1/2 season in the majors are all way too rigid and old-fashioned.
