Goody still in.

Trout hits ball hard but right at Kipnis. 1 Out.

High hard one hits Upton, gives a dirty look at Goody before taking his base.

Gomes drops a pitch that goes to backstop. Upton takes 2nd.

Pujols harmlessly fouls out to Gomes.

Tito pulls Goody for ZacMac, who promptly gets a weak pop up for 3rd out.

Still 6-0 good guys, onto 9th.

Mark Belisle is on to pitch the 9th.

Deep fly to CF, 1 away.

Ground out to 2nd, 2 away.

Grounder to Lindor that he gets to and knocks down but can't make the play. Guy on 1st, 2 away.

Uh oh, hit batter. They have 1st and 2nd with 2 away.

Grounder to 3rd base, and this one is over. Good guys win. 5 pitchers combine for shutout. 6-0

I really like Clevinger, he makes a fine No. 4 and could easily be slotted higher than that on most teams. His only problem is too many pitches, so doesn't last as long as he should. Vinnie Pestano was a good setup man for awhile but getting Clevinger for him when they were ready to DFA Pestano is his greatest legacy

This is part of what makes the Tribe so good. Their depth in their rotation gives them a shot to win every game. Other teams drop off drastically in their rotations after the top 1 or 2.

For sure. And the rotation is fully under team control beyond this summer, too. Salazar as our No. 6 would probably be No. 3 lots of places. Merritt is a Tomlin-like depth starter and an actual lefty for a team tilted to the right. Depth ends there until we get to the collection of talent in Akron.
