They then brought in Clevinger who pitched very well too. This might make a good combo in playoffs?

Lindor just hit a double.

That double by Lindor was his 42nd. He became just the 5th SS in MLB history to have a season of 40+ doubles and 30+ homers. Ripkin, Nomar, Tejada, and A-Rod the others. Pretty nice list.

Miller's velocity on his fastball is still not where it was, but he is really starting to dial in otherwise. Throwing strikes and slider is sharp. 3 up 3 down with 2 K's tonight.

Salazar looks great in his short start. Clevinger just as good in the bullpen as he did as a starter. Tomlin was rocked pretty well. Who gets the 4th rotation spot?

If it were me Clevinger would be 4th SP and Salazar and his 99 MPH fastball would be the weapon out of the pen. But as is I am rooting for Salazar. Tomlin has to be perfect to be effective. When he isn't perfect he gets lit up. It can get out of hand fast. Where as when Salazar doesn't have it it is because he is walking people. You have more time to get someone up and getting ready to come in. I just can't trust Tomlin in playoffs, despite the fact he was very good last year.

Honestly, I wish they would have just put Kip back at 2nd and Jose back to 3rd last week. Jackson can play CF this October. Chiz in LF. (maybe Brantley later too)

I agree with HB and CIV, put Kipnis at 2b, Ramirez at 3b, Jacson in CF sometime before the playoffs so they can get used to it.
