Another home run off Sipp.

Cruz.

This one a 2 run shot as Choo and Bradley could not find the fly ball off the bat of the last batter.

Why the heck is Sipp still pitching? I though 2 home runs in four batters should be a ticket to the showers

Sipp gets the 3rd out on a K

Five batters and he gave up two home runs and a ruled double.

Masterson retired the first batter in the seventh, but was removed after Ian Kinsler walked and Andrus singled. Sipp was called on to face Hamilton, who was batting .179 against left-handers, but that strategy failed. Hamilton's line drive cleared the wall in right near the Rangers' bullpen.

"He missed his spot," Hamilton said. "He was trying to go away with his fastball. He got it up and in."

From the same article:

.. RHP Alex White (sore middle finger) has been sent to extended spring training to begin a rehab program. He's expected to miss about 10 more weeks. ... 1B Nick Johnson, signed by the Indians to a minor league contract in February, has been activated from extended spring training and joined Double-A Akron. Johnson had wrist surgery last season.

CALI: Thanks for remembering my attendance at the game last night. Sorry I couldn't bring home a better result. The club seats are located in the mezzanine level along the first base line. That location is a major problem for night games on clear evenings, though. The sun is setting, and blinding everyone except for the last rows, until about 8:30. Even the last rows are in the sun just before it finally sets. But we didn't have to pay for the seats, and it included all you can eat food.

The announcers said the "double" that fell between Brantley and Choo Friday was "lost in the twilight."
