Been the case much of the year. Tito is not the type to keep the lineup the same despite player performance. He'll be making changes any day now.1 hit in 13 at bats from the top 4 guys in the batting order. That won't get it done!
Re: GameTime!™
13307Yeah, I meant Santana.
He might get shipped out like Martinez if doesn't start hitting.
Vic was a poor defensive catcher like Santana.

Re: GameTime!™
13308We got a pretty good supply of talent for Victor: well at least we got Masterson. Hagadone has talent but no success. Price has climbed slowly to AAA.

13309Carlos Santana - 3B - Indians
Carlos Santana is nursing a sore left groin.
Santana revealed after Wednesday's game that he had the injury as he sat in his locker with his left thigh wrapped. He played third base on Thursday, though he went 0-for-4 with three strikeouts. In a 1-for-27 funk at the plate and now dealing with an injury, it's probably a good time for Santana to get a day or two off.

13310He acknowledged the injury after Wednesday's game and then played on Thursday and stunk up the joint.
What's wrong with that picture?

Re: GameTime!™
13312Of course tonight he homers, lol.
Gotta get on joez's bandwagon (temporarily) regarding Bourn. IMO he was the goat tonight in the 9th with a pathetic at bat trying to move the runner over.

13313Michael Bourn - OF - Indians
Michael Bourn is not in the Indians starting lineup for Saturday's contest against the Blue Jays.
Bourn, who returned this week from a hamstring injury, is just 1-for-13 (.077) with five strikeouts and a stolen bases in his first three games. It's likely just a day to rest and clear his head, and he's expected to return to the lineup for Sunday's series finale.
Good. IMO he is clearly not ready. Should have stayed on rehab longer to get timing back and get used to seeing pitches.

Re: GameTime!™
13315no gametime posts, which isn't a surprise since all the interest in this game came from the BlueJays.
Santana's GIDP early caused me to look for his season total, but couldn't locate it. It's out there somewhere and it's a large number

13316Any fans who paid to watch today's game should get a refund. Not at all entertaining!

13318Very sloppy effort.Any fans who paid to watch today's game should get a refund. Not at all entertaining!
Buehrle just dominated as well, and the Jays played with confidence knowing he is on a roll.

13319I've been trying to listen to the games…..but the 3rd world internet isn't cooperating. I got most of the games last year, and the Browns…..mostly to my dismay.
I was hoping to get todays game since I don't have to get up at 4AM to turn it on….but no such luck.
Here's hoping they turn it around.
Happy Easter Everybody.

13320Another rather lousy game is developing. Our one-man gang of Michael Brantley homered in the second and doubled in a run in the 4th. The rest of the crowd is hitless. Featuring: 2 K each for stars Nick Swisher (.169) and Carlos Santana (148).
Meanwhile Carlos Carrasco appears to be making his last start of the season. He was fine for three innings, in fact perfect. Then he disintegrated. Fourth inning:
double, single, single, out, single, ground out rbi, out. That netted 3 runs.
Fifth inning: single, bunt, single, walk, steal, walk, out. One thrown out on the bases, so only 1 run.
Tribe within 2 half way through the game, need to try to get some men on base before Brantley's final two ABs.
