I had a combo college graduation party for my daughter, birthday for my son, and partial Mother's Day celebration since my wife was on the road last Sunday. I had massive quantities of top sirloins, asparagus spears and potatoes to tend to on the grill, and saw we were down early...and late.
After the last steaks came off and I uncorked the wines I was able to check my iPhone for the score and saw the 5-4 final!

(I have some extra top sirloins marinating in a basque sauce I can serve in about 20 minutes after the grill reaches 550 degrees, if anyone wants one)

Pierzynski made a nice play to get him, diving into the field of play to get Crisp as he tried a hand swipe of the plate on the pitcher's mound side.
Hate Pierzynski or not.....I do......he has always been a tough as nails and crafty ballplayer.

1364After Hafner completed the trip around the bases for his second career walk-off homer, he absorbed the requisite "punishment" from teammates.
Hard to believe if was only his 2nd career walk off HR.
