Tonight is Omar bobble head night. At 4:30 PM fans were lined up all the way around Ontario and Carnagie at the stadium. First 10,000 fans get them.
Pestano no longer in 8th inning role. Joe Smith takes over.

11643I'm not sure how the number of bobbleheads given away at a particular game is determined, but I think it's up to the company sponsoring them.
Re: GameTime!™
11645A little bit of rain, but they are playing. 1-0, Tigers, bottom of 2nd. 2 doubles by a couple ex-Indians.
Re: GameTime!™
11646A whole lot of rain now, and the tarp is coming out. Indians have men on 2nd and 3rd, with 2 outs. 2-2 count on Chiz....
Re: GameTime!™
11647Wow, that was a short rain delay! Chiz singled, and the Indians lead, 2-1.
Tigers up now.
Tigers up now.
Re: GameTime!™
11649I thought this was a 3 game series. At least we have a chance to even the score now.

11650I guess you missed this post on Friday!J.R. wrote:It's a four game series, JOE.
But you're right, we need at least a split. I was really looking forward to this game. I wasn't sure we'd win, but we are laying a colossal egg tonight!
Lots of fans who never come to a game aren't seeing much to want them to come back.
Re: GameTime!™
11652We are definitely giving them a battle tonight. Still tied at two. I would be sweet to win this game, and get back to 1.5 games out.

11654I went camping this weekend JR. First time I could get the kayak in the water. Took the 24 mile river route (14 miles as the birds fly).
Scherzer is one tough egg to crack. I thought we'd miss him and Verlander this homestand. Guess I was wrong.
It won't be easy but not impossible to beat him.
