Chisenhall homer makes it 5-1 in the 2nd. Brantley had a 2 run double and Santana 2 run homer in the first. Kluber has limited the damage to the standard Cabrera homer, but no one was on base. If we hold the Tigers to a Cabrera solo shot everytime up we should prevail, although one more run for the Tribe may be required.

BTW, Reynolds has dropped to 219 which is just about it line with his annual totals. 2012: 221; 2011 221; 2010 an amazing 198. His OPS this year of 708 is, however, by far a career low. Maybe we know now why the Indians signed him to a 1-year deal. Still he sure did have a good April.

[Well, I was trying to save up a few developments for one post; that worked earlier in the game.] Here is what I putting together:

One out double in the 7th and here is the call to the Fire Starters Convention.

Joe Smith first one out the gate allows a quick pair of singles to cut the margin to 6-2, 2 on one out.

Make that 3 straight singles, Cabrera cuts it to 6-3.

Joe who is not much good against lefties stays in to face Fielder.
