Ugh.

Now I have the breaking up of a winning streak as a monkey on my back. I ended up being jousted from my seat as a 4' 9" Japanese girl (about 45) wanted me to get her down to the field for an autograph opportunity from Choo.

I told her I was a big Ichiro fan. She said she preferred Choo.

True story.

She was also pretty bummed about this Osama Bin Laden death. She said she hated him as much as any American, but was unsettled with the ambiguity of how it went down.

She said she understood just taking him out and the propriety of such action. But she's having a hard time figuring out why the facts are now obscured. At least temporarily.

I argued the American side and supported our President for his apparent actions.

Americans support presidents in times of crisis, regardless of party.

She agreed.

Turned out she was a hooker, but not working tonight.

It's always fun to discuss politics with a smart naturalized American hooker.

I have to go to bed remotely early tonight because I have a game to play at 12:35 Pacific tomorrow.

I promise to dissuade all hookers tomorrow. Cute or not.

I also do so when it comes down to the brass on the tacks.

I'm bringing home a Cleveland Indian victory tomorrow.

I have a little cross and fresh garlic to dissuade hookers and to keep my mind on the game.

I also have a visualization of my wife kicking my arse and obliterating any close hookers should she be around to see.

My wife is tough.

:-)

Digressing.....

At the University of Florida graduation on Saturday, there was some "pre-game."

Cameras were on the crowd for photo ops in the 30 minutes before the procession. Up on the four big screens in the arena.

The camera caught one kid about 9 and he saw he was on the public screen. He ducked down, but the camera zoomed in on him as he was an instant live audience hit.

As the crowd clapped and laughed for and with him, the 9 year old had the presence of mind to get down on his stomach and wiggle behind the seats to get out of the video shot.

I don't like to be photographed either.

When I was in Jamaica in 1997 some apparently connected to God, Jamaican woman, told me that if I allow "snapshots" to be taken of me I would be giving my soul to the devil. Piece by piece.

No pictures were taken tonight. But there some from this afternoon all about A's history and banners outside the stadium

Again, I gotta game to play tomorrow.

Pointing my bat to the outfield, I predict a Tribe win.

I'd tout to "bet the house" on The Tribe winning tomorrow, but in truth I wanna keep my recreational lettuce for Saturday's Kentucky Derby.
