Carrera gloves a fly out in left that would have likely been flubbed by any of our other left fielders Mark Shapiro's organization has provided us this season.
On to our 8th, and we need two runs very soon to keep this thing going.
I'm still banking on an outrageous winning streak from these guys.......
Re: GameTime!™
9302And 9 putouts tonight for the left fielder of The Mariners.
I think that's approaching record territory, and not sure what it means about our pitching.

Re: GameTime!™
9303I think they said it ties the Mariners record in a game.....
Looking up the stats for put-outs one of our very own holds the single season record for left fielders.....
Left fielders
Joe Vosmik: 432 (Cleveland Indians, 1932)
Rickey Henderson: 407 (Oakland Athletics, 1980)
Elmer Valo: 395 (Philadelphia Athletics, 1949)
Ralph Kiner: 390 (Pittsburgh Pirates, 1947)
Bobby Veach: 384 (Detroit Tigers, 1921)
Ben Oglivie: 384 (Milwaukee Brewers, 1980)
Ralph Kiner: 382 (Pittsburgh Pirates, 1948)

9304When we are reduced to discussing put outs by left fielders in Major League history, and most of the record holders were 50+ seasons ago, I think we can all agree it was a helluva meaningless season for Tribe Baseball, courtesy Mark Shapiro, and Rusty will chime in to place blame on Chris Antonetti.
....and the Seattle left fielder gloves his 10th put out.

9307We're coming back. Go ahead run at the plate.
The possibility of that 30 game winning streak is still in play.

Re: GameTime!™
9309Bases juiced with one out for Kipnis to be the hero....but he hits into a double play....oh well.

Re: GameTime!™
9311And Kipnis hits a ball hard, but into a ground out double play to end the game.
Eric Wedge is within 5 games of .500 for Seattle, and The Cleveland Indians are way behind anything that makes a difference in any way or stat.
Thanks, Mark Shapiro.

Otis, (TFISC) how about keeping my name out of your drunken stupor rants. I was nice enough not to mention that no one here was surprised that you would be the "designated beer shot downer ".

I'm thrilled to note you read and remember my posts in such detail.
I'm amazed that you are still a Mark Shapiro ardent supporter. We may not be able to change owners, but our owner could sure get rid of Mark Shapiro and I do not see any way it's not worth the chance to shake Tribe Baseball up for the better.

Thank you. Nice to know that you are now a believer that Mark Shapiro is a waste of Dolan's money.
