Heck. It's the Jack Parkman thing, of course.

I'm still pissed at Chicago for breaking our 10 game season beginning win streak in 1966. I'll never forget that I was at the Ascot Park race track between Akron and Cleveland touting The Tribe.

Some old geezer....a guy about my age now.....glanced at me from his racing form and told me, "yeah, but they ain't played The White Sox yet."

(nod to Barack Obama, THAT guy might have been a "composite character" for the purpose of this post)

I read now late that Jhonny...er Johnny...... Damon had the cramps or something and will be back in the lineup on Thursday.

My Man Hannahan, rebounded to be clutch again.

Johnny Damon will have worth on this team. I'm a sucker for a grizzled vet with The Hardware in the dugout.

Nice to get Brantley get out of leadoff, since he doesn't get himself into scoring position enough. He really should hit 9th but so should Kotchum, and the days he catches so should Marson.

Brantley's 8 walks give him a 301 OBA and he's 2/5 in steals. Luigi Rodriguez is 4 levels away from the majors unfortunately.
