When we signed Derek Lowe I posted Acta would need to have a quick hook as he approached 90-95 pitches.
My cursory research showed he was regularly effective through 6 innings, but tended to tire late in the last season or two.
Let's get an Easter win.

6967Checking now, I'm sure we'll get a new pitcher. Lowe is at a full 95 and Acta will have someone else for the 8th.

6969Not much happened late, other than the run off Joe Smith in the 8th, rescued by Pestano with 2 Ks.
Then an easy ninth for Chris Perez, a single, an out, an Asdrubal error, an out, a walk to load them for no one other Bautista and Chris pops him up.

6971Another Chris Perez thrill a batter moment although this time it was caused by Asdrubal.
We could have easily been 3-0 in this series with some hitting. Starting pitching was awesome.

6972Kind of expecting this team to always be short of one of the basic skills: starting, relieving, hitting, or defense, but since this is baseball we'll be in most of the games and win a whole bunch of them.

Indians update: They lost six of nine last year at home to Chicago. Masterson was 2-2 with a 1.61 ERA. The Indians hit .260 as a team, with Travis Hafner batting .275 (14-for-51) with four homers and nine RBI.
