Trevor Crowe (shoulder) is done for the season.
Crowe strained his left shoulder (the same once he had surgically-repaired in March) during Saturday's 8-2 defeat of the Twins. And the out-of-contention Indians won't rush him back. The 27-year-old outfielder batted .214/.313/.250 in 28 at-bats.

Typical mess thrown up there by Mitch Talbot, rescued after letting 5 in, Judy allows a 6th to score, in 5 plus innings. But Tribe rallies for 5 in the bottom of the 6th and has two on in the 7th, with none out. Thome called out on strikes. Duncan bats against a RH on a pitching change.

Duncan has been impressive of late.

Duncan put up a lot of doughnuts in his stats earlier this season.

Chisenhall 2-run single; and another 2 run homer by Duncan gives Fausto a 4-2 lead. But of course h e couldn't hold it. One run in the 5th. Another in the 6tn. After a leadoff walk and a sac in the 7th he is sent to the showers. If we are fortunate that's his last appearance as an Indian.

NYTimes giving its baseball awards today (e.g. Verlander MVP even though he's a pitcher) names Fausto a runner up for the Worst AL Pitcher award behind John Lackey.

Joe's friend Adam Dunn runaway winner for AL LVP award.
