HB: Yep. There was a foul ball down by the bullpen. The ballboy handed it to someone down the row from CALI. He was looking away most of the time the camera was on him though. At the last moment he sat back in his seat, and I recognized him from his photos, and his garb.

I took a left at BART and took the train to see what kind of funky stuff is going down in The City.

A refreshing ten degrees cooler here as my scantily clad bartender brings me an ice cold beer.....here.

The only bad thing about our twelve inning win is that the beer shut off in the 7th.

CALI: That pick was from 1998, the only time I was at the Coliseum.

Quite a sun field they have there in Oakland in the afternoon. Players on both sides had trouble catching the ball.

Also went to Candlestick to see the Giants in '98..

I missed Cali's major league debut on TV!

I did see some old timer wearing an Oakland jersey yet an Indians hat. Thought that was funny. Apparently a transplanted buckeye now living in the bay area who now has split allegiences.

JR, I just realized your Coliseum pic was pre-"Mount Davis." Nice to compare to how it looks today.
