And the Nats just blew the lead in the top of the 9th, with only one out to go! :x

Nats lose.
What would the situation be now if Strasburg were available?

Two 88 win teams will be playing for the respective league pennants.

7 teams with 93+ wins will be watching on TV.

As John Hart often said, "just get to the playoffs."

Check that six 93+ regular season win teams, and seven 90+....

Hi J.R., buried deep in posts from a couple days a go I noted the 21st and 28th as the best dates to meet for a Browns Game while you are down here.

Did you have a chance to see it?

I'm ultra flexible on days, expect for the weekend of November 4 when my wife and I will be in Auburn for the Georgia game.

San Francisco Giants control home field now all the way through the rest of the playoffs.

With Detroit and New York the AL hopes, no doubt I will be pulling for the National League team in The World Series.

David Wells possibly works "menopause" as an answer for a baseball player feeling for the first time in MLB history,

He applied it as he was asked the possible feelings of the players in the dugouts as the 6 run lead was being chopped away.

"Menopause.......they were hot, they were cold, they were hot, they were cold."

Imagine if this past regular season had been played as it was until 1969. Just two leagues, American and National.

St. Louis would have finished the regular season fifth in the National League, and Detroit would have finished the regular season seventh in the American League.

This was the biggest lead ever blown in the winner-take-all game of a playoff series. Typically, when teams get down that badly, there's no coming back emotionally.

I guess either of those dates would work for me. As I said in an email last week, I will call you once I arrive and get settled.

Yep, it would have been Washington v. NY in the World Series.

Speaking of New York, Detroit is now batting there in the top of the 12th as Sunday arrives and 1AM is approaching.

4-4

Detroit is up in games 3-0, versus The Yankees.

Criminy. that's a tough call for rooting for a Cleveland Fan.

I want them both to be gone.
