Our announcers seemingly know geography about as well as Mark Shapiro knows how to build and lead a winning baseball team. One announcer noted that it was raining in Texas....said that it "rarely rains there"..... and then said the cause must be that hurricane system down there.

Sheesh.

Let's see if Kipnis can get his 3rd stolen base of this game....


Yep...he got it. #26 on the year.

We trail 4-2 with one out in the bottom of the 8th.

Thus far most of our hitters would have done just as well if they stayed in bed. Only three of our guys have a hit today, and Kipnis has 3 of our 5.

OK.....now Brantley gets his hit.

LaPorta swings at the first pitch and hits it deep, but not deep enough.

We go to the 9th, down 4-2.

And that's the ball game, and the series, a 4-2 Tribe loss.

We last won a series by taking 2 of 3 from Detroit July 24-26.

That was our only series win since the All Star Break.

We took a series from the Angels on 4th of July weekend.


We've only won those two series going all the way back to mid-June when we swept Cincy.

Our Cleveland Indians as presented by Chris Antonetti and Mark Shapiro have now had their arses handed to them four games in a row by a team spending $20 million less in payroll than we are.

I really don't think the collapse is all Acta's fault, but I don't see how he can be kept on.
