Joez guy Yoenis Cespedes had an earlier 2 run home run, his 16th of the season, to keep his batting average at .305.
I check out the Oakland boxscores every night and have seen all of his homers. All of them have been no doubters. When he hits them, they are gone. I'm so pi$$ed that we dropped out of the bidding for him.

We're up 1-0, as Jason Kipnis homered off of Kevin Millwood in the first at bat of the game.
Bottom of the 2nd coming up.

My wife wanted to know why I would still be paying attention to The Indians. I told her there was nothing wrong with this team that a 30 game winning streak would not solve.

I had missed that Chris Chambliss is the hitting coach for Seattle.
And this trivia:
Chambliss was also a hitting coach with the Yankees, and has the distinction of being one of two men who wore a Yankees uniform (player or coach) during each of the Yankees' last six World Series Championship seasons prior to 2009 (1977, 1978, 1996, 1998, 1999, and 2000) -- the other is former New York Mets manager Willie Randolph.
