Rusty remembers that one well. That's when he tried to get me to pay attention to Barry Manilow.
Personally, I had a steady 8-track diet of Eric Carmen and ELO in those days.
Oh, it's still only 8-1 in Anaheim.

Choo makes it 8-4, but I think it's still like Johnny and Deniece were singing...

No, even a no meaning three run home run in a lost game and a lost season is better than that unfortunately hard to forget song.
That song is so hard to listen to it might make me yearn for "Peaches and Herb."

It beats Ken "Hawk" Harrelson calling "Hey, Paulie!"

Interestingly enough, that song was probably once a "pick to click" by some radio DJ.

Angels tear a page from the Indians' book. Bags juiced, no outs, and they don't score!

That tune had early Hollywood on its side.
Less interesting, I'm old enough that met a girl in a bar in my single early 1980's years (yes, she WAS beautiful,
Rusty....to me) named "Paula." Her name was indeed Paula.
Let's just say that my memory of that song led to a fun evening as she was young enough to never have had it cross her personal radar screen, and I had the vocal cords and beer muscles to share it with her.
We have another AB in Anaheim coming up, just down 8-4.

It's another "L" in the loss column tonight for the reign of Mark Shapiro as his pitcher with two names serves up early softballs, and his late season acquisition Lillibridge forgets how to field and throw or hit the ball.

"You throw the ball, you hit the ball, you catch the ball"

"What's our record?" "THIS is a simple game." "Bus leaves, six in the morning."
Be there, or be square.

I believe that Choo threw to the correct base but the infielders were not positioned correctly. For what it's worth, the infielders were in a shift against Morales, but Lillibridge should have gone over to cover second.
I noticed that in the second inning right after Santana failed to field the bunt that loaded the bases, Fausto was already dripping sweat from the bill of his cap.

The way he sweats he has to lose 10 lb every game. But the post game beans and rice put it back on.
Was that PC?

Close enough for me, though I will note the consumption of some bean and rice combos can indeed be very healthy.
Though I have no idea of the fat content of the tomato basil soup and duck based pate I consumed from C Level last night.....
