Chris Perez has retired 6 in a row in pressure situations to earn 2 saves since his name has been bantered in trade talks. If nothing else, he's driving up the price of poker for other teams. At least I HOPE our trade arrangers realize that.

For those interested in the game and not articles in game time. Tribe leads 1-0 in the 4th and they have men on first and second no outs.

Travis Halfyear and Richie Cunningham execute a JoeZ special.

I've always been an Ichiro fan, and for the first time since the Reggie Jackson three home run night I'll be hoping some Yankee does well going forward. But not against us.

JR--Smith's pitch to Berry could have just as easily been called a strike as a ball. In fact after a couple of TV replays Manning & Underwood were sticking to their story that it was a strike.

Cunningham makes his probably final Tribe appearance the only memorable one.

Oh, I see we played a game tonight, and lost by two.

And we are just 4 games out, with August less than a week away.

Win tomorrow and get it to 3 1/2, as the ChiSux are wussying out with an off day.

Loufla and his lovely wife, Eva joined my personal lovely wife at a wine bar near both our homes. We were happy to see The Tribe make it 3-2 while viewing on my iPhone, but alas, we picked up the "L" tonight.

We still have 66 to play, and I know we can get to the promised playoff land. Our competition in the Division has soft bellies that can be defeated, and we are just a breath away from stomping on them.....weak batting averages at the bottom of the order noted.

JR, we tried to get some photos tonight to share here, but with a nod to the country song, "one thing led to another."

I actually corralled and snagged a gal from the bar that Lou claimed he knew from a local retailer, to snap the photos. Fortunately, she recognized him. When the photos were snapped, we all discussed the lighting and the possible angles for a better shot as we sipped wine paired with good food. It was Woody Allan-esque. At least in my book Then the formal wine tasting started, and we all just happily ditched the idea of photos on this meeting.

We actually had a shot of everyone that was real and flattering to everyone but me. I vetoed it because the large head that I already knew I have looked like something that should have been tethered and led in the Macy's Thanksgiving Parade.

Again fortunately, both Loufla and I have married well. Our wives tolerate our Indians Fandom, and share our enjoyment of tasty nourishment. Pictures next time.

Seriously, The Tribe needs to win the game on Thursday.

It will be our 50th win, and we'll clinch another series against the Tiggers.

I agree with TFISC it was Woody Allenesque. It was also quite impossible to get a good picture taken as the idea that we would frustrate JR again led to giggling and more wine tasting, and more wine tasting and thinking about JR getting angry led to open laughter and pandemonium(Sorry JR,it wasnt me, it was all the others!).

TFISC is right , we both married well. Thank goodness Shapiro was not in charge of our nuptials.

Quite glad that TFISC moved to Florida again and all of you on the Forum....C'mon down!

I am neither frustrated nor angry. I guess I suggested that you post a pic a few months ago, but it is no big deal. I have seen LOU and Eva on several occasions, and CALI has posted numerous pics of him and his wife.

Perhaps I can meet with all of you to watch a Browns game in October/November, when I will be in Sarasota.

Rain delay at Classic Park in Eastlake. Field is still covered. They are about an hour away from the debut of Roberto Hernandez.

Announcers saying Roberto Hernandez looks to be in good shape.

Lot of media in attendance.

All star game was the last time the attendance was as high as it is today.

Roberto Hernandez gets his first out of the year. Lead off man grounds out to first.

Second batter grounds out Lindor to first (nice play in the hole).

Error on the thirdbaseman. Ball catches him between hops.

Cleanup guy sends one over the wall in right.

Hernandez and the Captains trail at the end of the half inning 2-0.

Both runs are unearned runs.

Hernandez comes back to get the last out of the inning via the strikeout.

Hernandez pitching well and ahead of all five batters faced.
