Whoever keeps messing with Santana should be fired!

Why do you assume someone screwed him up? Could be he has big holes in his swing that other teams exploit.

As far as his defense.....nothing special...probably below average throwing.

How many different batting stances have you seen from Santana since he was promoted to Cleveland? I can think of three.

That toe-tapping-timing-mechanism has got to go. I never signed up for the MLB.TV package this year so I don't get to see the Indians much but the last time I saw him hit, it was on Fox sports shortly before the all-star break and he still was dancing. How can Santana pick up on change ups vs fastballs in the middle of a dance? I'm surprised the coaches haven't eliminated that toe tapping by now.

Second thoughts.... when Santana gets fooled, he gets fooled badly on the offspeed pitches. I have to think that the toe tapping is in large a part of the problem.

So the Red Sox losing is more important to you than the Indians losing ground in the standings? What if it were the last day of the season, and we needed the Bosox to win for the Indians to make the playoffs?

Since there is only a slight chance that a meteor will hit the stadium while both teams are playing...(I root for the same meteor when the Stillers are playing the Ratbirds). I'm gonna pull (not root) for the White Sox to win so we can gain some ground....worry about the Red Sox in the playoffs.

My these glasses I'm wearing are quite rose colored tonight...or the beer is really good...either way.

I've seen Asdrubal argue two calls tonight that I thought in real time and replay the umps had correct. The successful stolen base, and a called strike three.

Ironies, Tampa Steve and I grew up about four blocks from each other, with me about 7 years older. In the late 1990's I worked in Tampa extensively and learned after the fact that my work and Steve's work had been in the same suburban office building. I made quick trips to Winter Haven from Tampa, and never was there the same day as Tampa Steve (or others here, for that matter).


By the way, I really think Brian Anderson does a super job in his role as a Rays broadcaster.
