Brantley and Duncan are both hot right now. Brantley is smoking hot.
Kotchman will be in double digit dingers with his next round tripper, and is tracking for 60 RBI's.
He is hitting .417 for July.
Nice upswing for a guy who hit .149 in April.

I'm more than a little surprised to see Carlos Santana was our DH today when Travis Hafner won the game for us with his Friday night homer.
The most important stat of the day though was that Jimenez gave up 8 earned runs before exiting before he got the 8th out.
7 hits and 4 walks in 2 1/3 innings.
Darned All Star break.....

Guys I am becoming unhappy with: Hanahan, SANTANA, LOWE, ACTA, Damon, of course and somewhat with Cabrera. The latter is not hitting or fielding worth a crap. When does he turn it around.
This team needs HELP.

We lsoe 3-0. Brantley iwth 40% of our hits, 100% of our extra base his. Tigers move into 2nd. Tribe into 3rd. I'll be surprised if we return to second.

We had a no hitter at Akron today.
Tomorrow we are back in the USA, playing in the pinball machine of Tampa a couple hours to the north of Loufla and I. We won two out of three when The Tribe was in my former backyard of Oakland earlier this season.
This time I'm shooting for three out of four.

We're wasting more base runners than a certain administration wastes money.......
Damon, Choo and Cabrera all choked majorly with the bases loaded and no outs
McAllister still keeping us in the game though, up 3-0

Cabrera dives, gets up and throws to first from the grass for the 3rd out.
We dodged a big inning. Rays had two on, one in and no outs and scored just one.

Kipnis leads with a gap double to the wall in the 5th
Brantley now with his 3rd walk of the game, and now 12 base runners before the first out of the 5th.
