Play by Play in a Win for Husker.

I don't recollect Husker involved in PBP much in the past decade.

For now, my baseball superstition is that Husker must be active in Gametime for us to win....

:-)

It's been awhile Cali and I was totally blacked out. This was courtesy of ESPN.

Indians were ahead by 2 runs, but Perez blew the lead, and now has a man on 3rd with one out....

Now Tampa Bay takes the lead on a single...

7-6

We were leading, 5-0, at one point.

Another game where McAllister became unglued after some bad defense. He's going to need to grow up some to have any kind of career.

I guess all we need to do is keep Perez from pitching on Opening Day and the last day before the break, and we're home free.

And I see the 9th inning rally was punctuated by a Carlos Pena triple? How does that happen short of every outfielder dropping dead?

We have 1st and 3rd with 2 outs for Casey Kotchman now...

Brantley dove for a ball in front of him and missed, so it went all the way to the wall.

Sorry for losing it. What a disappointment after an insurmountable lead.

I think I'm ready for this 4 day leave.

I hate the All Star Break almost as much as I dislike interleague play.

Once more, I have had little interest in the All Star Game since Cleveland's Ray Fosse was injured in the 1970 game.

I'm all for naming All Stars, of course.

This "home run derby" thing with lob balls is just stupid.

ChiSux lost today, probably spitting out a can of corn.

We're just 3 games out, and in 2nd place at the break.

If Chris Perez blows a save in Game 162, I hope we have a two game lead.

Kotchman and Choo have been picking it up.

If memory serves, there didn't used to be that long a break "back in the day" when we were kids, did there? And the HR Derby is dragged out WAY too long!

Some guy named Orestes Destrade
He was on the XM radio early-morning baseball show before the merger, for a while, and had similar difficulties there. I think he also got canned mid-season.
