I watched Katie's interview of Brantley after the game. What a soft spoken, articulate gentleman he is.

Masterson with a very poor game tonight. 2 in the 1st on a homer. We tie it. 2 in the third. Luke Scott ends his nearly record-breaking out streak with a 2 run homer in the 5th. After a couple more get on base Nick (I thought they has shipped him out to Columbus by now) Hagadone and yields a double to clear the bases (that makes 8 runs off Masterson). Then walks the next 2 to load the bases. Call goes to Scott Barnes to board the bus to Cleveland.

Nick finally gets an out on a sac fly and then a single brings in his 2nd run and the Rays total reaches 10. Might as well as let Hagadone "work on things" for a couple more innings rather than wasting too many relievers tonight. Nick's ERA now 6.39

I started cooking a casual and quick dinner on a grill pan for the wife and I when the score was 4-2 in favor of The (Devil) Rays.
Before I ground the last seasonings before serving on the thinly sliced Yukon potatoes and chicken sausage, the score was 10-2.
Same inning, I think.
We were close to rallying in the 8th, but much ado about nothing.
Let's just win tomorrow.
The Chicago White Sox are not playing in America, so I think there is some clause that their victory tonight should only be worth a quarter point, or something.

Nice note.
A glimmer of value and worth in the CC Sabathia trade.
His Dad played in "The Show," so Michael had access to good advice.

No TV today, as MLB has decreed the whole universe needs to see the Skankees play the Red Sox yet again.

AND, and they have to have a back up in case of rain. Why not let the Indians play at 1:00 and in case of rain, other baseball fans would find out what it's like not to see baseball. I absolutely hate the way baseball is lined up today. It's strictly for $$$$$$$$.

I'm not even sure the Indians game would be available for backup. Screw MLB.

It's actually the Indians' fault. They knew about the Fox window. Every other game in the east is scheduled at 1 PM or 4 PM. Why did the Tribe pick 6 PM?

Fielder's choice, at second. One out.
