I think last night will be a huge mental positive for him. Because now he knows his stuff plays in the majors. Before he got all wild and lost it, he was doing great. Have to think he will be more confident later on because of it.

While #Indians No. 28 prospect Eli Morgan is better known for his changeup, it was his slider that pushed him to 6 1/3 scoreless innings for @LynHillcats.

2018 Cleveland #Indians Dominican Summer League roster. Season starts tomorrow Saturday June 2. Some very interesting prospects to follow from a strong 2017-18 International signing class.

Wouldn't get too excited over Morgan just yet. He's 5'10" and his best pitch is a change up. Doesn't sound like Major League starting pitcher to me.

On the DSL roster, I see Bracho is here but not George Valera; so I guess he will debut in Arizona. Impressive.
I wonder if the pitcher going by the name of Roberto Hernandez, might actually have the birth name of Fausto Carmona Jr?

Morgan will have to keep proving himself step by step; the pre-draft report suggested his stuff would play out very well at low levels but didn't project to major league level. It will be fun to watch

I actually wondered if he might be the son of the former ChiSox closer, Roberto Hernandez.
Indians Prospective reported a while back that organization had planned to start both Valero and Bracho at Arizona. Not sure what changed. Bracho must have hit a speed bump that he needs more work on. But we might see him get moved there soon if he starts well.

Beiber's 1st start was lots better than some guy named Swindell.

Greg's debut was a classic. 21-1 or something like that??

So is McKenzie still just fine and dandy and throwing in Arizona? He's having quite a lengthy rehab for a not very serious injury.

Plutko took a perfect game into the ninth, but issued a one-out walk. He had a partial game no hitter before his promotion. And Bieber a 7 inning no no in his most recent Columbus start. Plutko will be back this week and deserves plenty of credit for bouncing back from a terrible AAA debut, which apparently was mainly due to playing through injury
