Shoot, then I thought about springing what I expected to be twenty bucks to watch the Pacquiao vs. Bradley fight. Turns out it's $64.99, and with a nod to Mike Tyson, I'm not biting.

The All Star Game is within one month, and few teams in MLB are getting any separation from the pack, either North or South.

Colorado is 13 out, but they have a history of being late season closers.


In my book, only The Cubs and The Padres can be written off for the post season at this point. Amazing that Minnesota has hung around to this point to just be a good week out of the thick of things in our Division.

Carlos is 5-45 and has two hits in the week since he returned from his concussion.

Ubaldo's pitching very well again. Nothing allowed besides the homer. 3 strikeouts, no walks, 44 pitches in 3 innings.

Indians meanwhile have had 5 hits and a walk and the only rbi was on sac fly. Just left a man at 3rd in the top of the 4th.

2 more strikeouts in the 4th; 11 in a row set down by the Big U
