Buck, I posted Sickel's list a few weeks ago. You ignoring me again. It's cool, don't blame you.

I started posting our minor league teams' rosters, but I'm seeing some mistakes. Guess I'll wait till sites get the kinks worked out.

Minor games start on Apr 5. Rosters probably still in flux.

Papi tried and failed there last year and will return, Nellie one of the few remaining Rodriguezes improved slowly over his AAA debut season. Stamets made his AAA debut last year too, so the only minor league vet as a regular will be Richie Shaffer, and he's not one of those 30+ year old AAAA types.
Pitching in Columbus won't be much -- Morimando, Plutko return after poor debuts; Merritt's on DL and is out of options, Merryweather out for the season. Here come the old guys led by Steven Fife. Maybe Michael Peoples, DJ Brown, not much.
Hmm could be fun seeing those young position players when they come to town here in Rochester (Twins).

Rosters are definitely still a work in progress. Lake County's doesn't show any of the kids debuting there like Jones or Benson. Hillman and Aiken listed as pitchers, will they return or be promoted despite bad years? Thought I read something that suggested Aiken was going to Lynchburg.

Hillcat roster looks a bit more real. Ice and Chu are showing as catchers; Tapia and Wakamatsu promoted for 1B and SS; Pantoja 2B; Collins returns at 3rd. Capel moving up to join Carter and Longo and Marabell in a not bad OF.
Pitchers include Sam Hentges promoted along with Miniard who was pretty awful in LC last year too; who's Jake Paulson a 6-7 righty?; other possible starters are Anderson Polanco and Tanner Tully and Justin Garza. Guess Aiken and Hillman will be back in Eastlake.

Akron's roster is basically the 2017 crowd with a couple deletions, e.g. Mejia and Haase are gone and no one replaces them. I wonder if Murphy might be assigned here to work with the young arms.

Columbus shows Chang along with the two catchers, but not Bobby Bradley. Also includes DJ Brown who's been released and Merryweather who's out for TJ surgery.

Might still be a mistake or three but here is updated rosters. Only glaring mistake I am seeing is Aaron Civale's name is nowhere to be found. Not on any roster or DL list. But here goes ...

This team has McKenzie currently listed on their DL, who is obviously the guy to keep an eye on. Hopefully he ends up in Akron soon though. But I think they have some under the radar guys worthy of watching too. My man Mitch Longo, of course. Sam Hentges is finally healthy and looks to build on his strong finish to last season. In his last 10 games last year Hentges allowed 23 hits in 32 innings while striking out 40. He might be my pick to click this year. There is also a couple interesting relievers on this team. Siri of course. And my man, the myth, the legend, Ben Krauth. So far in his minor league career Krauth has a 1.79 ERA, allowed 79 hits in 117 innings, while striking out 138.

I am certain Aaron Civale is on this roster too and was just accidentally left off. He and Bieber have become joined at the hip. Can't have one without other.

This team has a lot of talent and should be fun to follow. Bradley is starting off back here. I hope it is because he has one last hurdle to cross and not because of a bum like Napoli keeping him from getting his promotion. ... Slick Wili Castro is here and quite a talented SS. ... Then of course Bieber and Civale. Chiang's fallen behind and barely worth a mention.

Frankie Mejia is obviously the main guy to watch here. How long will he remain here is yet to be seen. Most likely till September unless something crazy happens. Greg Allen and Yandy Diaz are of course other prospects to watch here. Pitching staff is mostly under-performers and will be worth watching if one of these guys like Morimando or Merryweather can finally put it together. I say doubtful...

The guys to watch here will roam the OF. Former 1st rounder Will Benson and good lookin youngster Oscar Gonzalez. Both have potential but haven't shown it in spades yet. Might be time to shine. Nolan Jones is of course another guy to watch here.

You may notice that Eli Morgan was left off all rosters too. I think he will start here this season. And he is one I will watch. See how far that great changeup takes him. Hillman is coming off a disaster, interested in seeing if he can bounce back. Karinchak too. Few interesting pitchers I didn't mention too. Young guys with good arms.

Just read this tweet that confirms it.

Lake County Captains @LCCaptains
Eli Morgan is putting in some extra work after practice this afternoon. He will be our Opening Night starter Thursday Night! Morgan was third in strikeouts in NCAA Div. I last season at Gonzaga.

Karinchak was also in top 3 that year and is also on Captains this year.

I saw an updated version for Akron that includes Civale and Brady and a catcher, too! OF includes Ka'ai Tom, Taylor Murphy, Andrew Calica. Loopstock at 1st and I guess backup catcher to Salters, as well.

What's the issue with McKenzie? Didn't know he was hurt?
