Quintana in relief gets an out but walks 2 to force in a run; inning ends Tribe up 8-2.

Both Sox runs unearned (errors by McAllister and Santana). 59 pitches by McAllister through 3. Hope we can get 3 more innings out of him and then let Wheeler and Ascensio take it home.

Zach gives back 2 in the 4th. 8-4. 78 pitches.

3 quick Tribe outs. McAllister back to try to hold a 4 run in probably his last inning.

McAllister has no stuff at all.

Hafner triples, but is stranded.

Zach settles in and ptiches 2 more innings, and it's 8-4 mid 6yh.

Jairo Glyphics is on for the Tribe.

Zach did his job, thanks to a terrible outing by Humber.

McAllister has no stuff at all.

Well he might be OK as a 7th starter. I'll take 6 innings with 2 earned runs, even 6 innings with 4 runs, in the first game of every DH.

Not sure why Ascensio is still on team, but he's in now in the 7th. You'd hope that our supposed depth of relievers would offer us a better option. But with Lee on the DL, Putnam on the Rockies, Herrmann with a AAA ERAof 4.40, Judy and Burns gone, too, and Cody Allen less than a year out of college we're thinner in the pen than we like to think.

And Ascensio with an easy inning. That's why we keep him!

CWS with 2 runs in. Hagadone in, Jairo out.
