Hey! We need the rain. Peoria is being considered officially as a drought zone with surrounding areas in a semi-drought zone

JOE: No flooding at the campground this year, then, at least.

Game should start at 9:05 EST.

After that 6 weeks of Indian type summer in early March, its been seasonable cold. We started camping three weeks ago. I haven't taken the kayak from the garage yet although I did purchase my fishing license. It's been too cold. I planned on a little kayaking trip this coming weekend though. The river is pretty low so I'm hoping for a couple of inches of rain. Doesn't look like that's going to happen any time soon.

Strange weather. Normally the river is too deep this time of year. Now its not deep enough.

Looks like the Indians got totally fleeced on the Jimenez trade.

Cannot give this guy even close to a passing grade in a Tribe uniform.

TDU:
Are you watching the game? How can you blame Ubaldo for that crappy defense??
I agree that the walks don't help, but when 2 guys converge on a pop fly in the infield, and neither can catch it, and the hitter ends up on 2nd base...

But that's just it he walks guys every game. It's not even about this game in particular. Jimenez just has not been good period. Velocity is still way down compared to what he was throwing with the Rockies.

Either something is physically wrong with the guy or they seriously screwed up their scouting reports. In any case, the package the Indians gave up to get Jimenez doesn't even come close to the crap he is throwing out game after game.

Duncan hits the first Indian homer in 370 ABs. Too bad it's a solo shot.
7-2, top of 7th

Note to Manny Acta, sitting Hannahan and Kotchman in the same game will not work going forward.

There's that synergy/energy thing, and those guys seem to regularly find ways to contribute to a "W."

I understand the two day rest for both of those old guys....over 30.

We'll give Chicago a little taste of Paper Lace tomorrow.

Translation, "the night Chicago died."

Win tomorrow, and it will be a good day.
