The Naples-Fort Myers area, for sure. The condo we've identified to initially rent is in Bonita Springs, between the two. Less than 10 miles from North Naples where
Loufla I think lives. My youngest daughter is in the area, and my oldest daughter is just up I-75 in the north Tampa suburbs. I have one of my first cousins solidly rooted in the area, too.
Both my wife and I have pretty simple home tastes and are just looking for a convenient location that is functional for the two of us that's in a low crime area and is a 2012 bargain with a decent chance of appreciating in the future five to seven years. For now, our planned retirement base will still be in South Carolina.

Hannahan, Lowe bring home victory for Indians
By Jordan Bastian / MLB.com | 4/24/2012 10:19 PM ET
CLEVELAND -- It turns out that the Indians could go home again. On Tuesday night, Cleveland carried its success on the road back to Progressive Field, claiming a 4-3 victory over the Royals behind a solid performance from starter Derek Lowe.
Cleveland (9-6) picked up its eighth win in its past 10 games, which included a sweep of Kansas City to jump-start a strong nine-game road trip. The Tribe labored out of the gates this season during its first homestand, but made sure to take advantage of the ample opportunities offered this time around by the Royals.
After coming up empty with the bases loaded and no outs in the second inning, the Indians were presented with another bases loaded situation -- this time with one out -- in the fifth against Royals left-hander Jonathan Sanchez. Shelley Duncan delivered a sacrifice fly and Jack Hannahan came through with a two-run double, pushing the Tribe to a 4-1 lead.
That cushion was sufficient for Lowe (3-1), who yielded one run on eight hits across six innings against the Royals (3-14). Kansas City, which has lost 12 in a row for the first time since 2008, managed its lone run off Lowe in the fourth when Mike Moustakas singled, moved to second on a wild pitch and scored on a base hit from Mitch Maier.
Lowe ended with five strikeouts and one walk in a 96-pitch effort.
The Royals added a run in the eighth inning against Indians setup man Vinnie Pestano. Eric Hosmer led off with a walk and later crossed the plate on a double from Maier, cutting the Tribe's lead to 4-2. Cleveland closer Chris Perez gave up a run in the ninth, but sidestepped further damage to notch his seventh save.
Sanchez (1-1) took the loss after surrendering four runs on four hits in 4 2/3 innings for the Royals. The lefty finished with seven walks, including three in a row to open the second inning. With a chance to break the game open early, Cleveland's Jason Kipnis flew out to left field and Asdrubal Cabrera grounded into a double play to end the inning.
The Indians and Royals did not have any carryover from the bad blood experienced in their previous meeting in Kansas City. On April 14, the clubs had two bench-clearing incidents in the wake of batters being hit by a pitch. The first altercation came after Shin-Soo Choo was hit by an offering from Sanchez. On Tuesday, Sanchez hit Kipnis to open the game, but both sides kept their cool.

Yep, we indeed are in First Place as a new dawn approaches in late April. Not much to hang a hat on, but it is a good reason to go out and buy an officially sanctioned and personally sized and fitted Cleveland Indians hat. I bought mine last season. The Asian guy who sold it to me said, "wow, you have a really big head."
"More room for brains," was my retort.
First Place, with May in sight.
That has not happened often in the last 50 years of Cleveland Indians Fandom.

WoW! What a finish to the A's vs Sox game. Chris Sale gave up 2 runs in 8 innings but the sox tied the game at 2 in the top of the 9th. Alexei Ramirez doubled home 2 runs in the top half of the 14th inning, but Yoennis Cespedes ripped a 2-run homer over the left centerfield wall to tie the game at 4 runs each. Cespedes' homer was followed by 3 straight basehits. The A's tally 3 in the home half of the 14th and brought home a winner.

Homer #5 for Cespedes to go along with 2 basehits and a walk in 5 official trips to the plate. I still believe that he can be a stud in this league. Should have gotten a few points for JR today. JR! Do you have Chris Sale in your fantasy league? I don't know how far that homer was hit today but it was pretty big. I'll have to check out the summary to see if they list it. With that A's win, we move ahead of the Sox by a full game.

I was watching that game. Hawk wasn't too happy with the ending! Cespedes is doing well for me!
TFIR has Sale on his team.

Hafner takes one the other way down the third base line for a two out double. That's one way to beat the "shift"

On to the 5th...Hochevar has allowed just 3 hits and hasn't walked anyone...Jimenez settling in - he's retired 11 of last 13.
