Barrera and Núñez place Licey one win away from winning the 2024 Final Series. Licey rallied for 3 runs in the tenth inning to beat the Stars 8-5 in game five of the finals. A one-run single by Luis Barrera and a two-run single by Gustavo Núñez defined the 8-5 victory for Licey over the Estrellas Orientales. Licey lost the first two games of the series but came back to win the next three games
Mexico:
Mazatlán, Sinaloa (Comunicación Liga ARCO).- Breaking a nine-year fast without lifting the LAMP trophy - the longest in their history - the Naranjeros de Hermosillo managed to sweep the Venados de Mazatlán in the Final Series to obtain the 17th title in their history, becoming the winningest team in the history of Mexican baseball. The Naranjeros won by a score of 4-0 in game 4 of the Grand Final.
