Catching on the day's reading, I see Hagadone has stepped in as a roster replacement for Asdrubal Cabrera who will be out 3 to 7 games while on the bereavement list. His grandfather in Venezuela became ill last week and died. Cabrera is expected to miss the games against Seattle and Oakland on this trip.

Mariners announcers note that Rafael Santana steps up to the plate for us. Really.
