That's never applied to ex-Indians. It's not the same as the "ex-Cubs factor" that Mike Royko wrote about, which stated that the team with the most former Cubs on it always loses. Ex-Indians always prosper away from here and win rings. Roger Maris. Graig Nettles. Joe Carter. Manny Ramirez. Thome has been the exception.

I used to hate LaRussa, but living out here where he has strong connections I know he does great personal work for a couple of causes I care about. A lot of support from him.
I really don't care much for Atlanta since 1995, but I do like The South.
