Huff in September 19 innings, 26 hits, 7 walks, 10 strikeouts, 25 runs, only 15 earned, but he had a lot to do with the other 10, 5 homers allowed. ERA 7.10. "All Runs Average" 11.32.
White in September 20 innings, 28 hits, 7 walks, 16 strikeouts,... That much isn't all that bad, but toss in 8 homers, which results in 22 runs, 21 earned. ERA 9.45 "ARA" 9.90.

Duncan double scores two and Tribe leads by 2 after 1. Good luck David, you can put us back at .500 if you don't implode once again.

Huff makes it through 2. Fukodome relieves Crowe after 1. Trevor hadn't batted but managed to get hurt or ill again. Another rough year for Crowe.

R.A. Dickey of the Mets has a no-hitter through 6 innings--and the Phillies have most of their usual lineup out there. As most of you probably know, no Met pitcher has ever thrown a no-hitter.
It took facing a virtual AAA lineup for Huff to revert to his AAA form.

Huff made it through 5 2/3 leaving after allowing a tying run. Now Zach Putman with a chance for his first big league win, as Duncan delivers a Sac Fly, giving him all 3 rbi after Liriano loaded the bases on walks and hbp.
101 pitches for Huff to get his 17outs. 8 hits allowed, but he didn't walk anyone.

Hanahan gives it going with a sngle. Liriano was a terrfic pitcher; it's too bad he can't get anyone out any more. 5-2 Tribe. Liriano departs.

Carrera fans for the 2nd out. Donald single loads them up for Kipnis who lead off the inning with a walk and could put the game on ice with a big hit.

Univ of Michigan and Harvard set down the Twins in the 7th and 8th and Herrmann on for his second inning to finish up. He gets the first out, and we're 2 away from a Magic Number of 3 to clinch 2nd place.

We finished 6-9 with runners in scoring position, most of the chances in the 6-run 6th; Twins 0-11. That will win any game.
