I don't like the simulcasts with the satellite radio.

No, xm listeners lost out when they started that. As I've said previously, I liked Charlie Steiner's Baseball Beat show.

I guess xm cut its baseball coverage when they merged with Sirius. Read this article, and the comments below it:

J.R.- I also enjoyed the Steiner show.
I had a beer with him at a bar very near the Ballpark in Arlington several years ago. Albert Belle was still with the Tribe then and he walked into the bar and gave a death glare to everyone in the place. Very creepy.
But the women there were ohhlala.

I just realized I still need to get tickets for the three Indians games in San Francisco next month. It's a weekend series on the 24, 25th and 26th. I didn't realize that The Giants box office prices now fluctuate on a daily level:

Giants Dynamic Pricing
Dynamic Pricing
The Giants are the first MLB team to institute a dynamic pricing structure which allows the team to continually re-adjust ticket prices up or down based on market demand.
Prices for almost half of the seating capacity at AT&T Park start at $20-25 per ticket. Prices for certain games start as low as $8.00 per ticket.

I believe the announcers last night said the game would be on MLB Network on Thursday. Thursday will not be an STO telecast.

Correct ... Thursday game is on MLB Channel at noon EDT. Not on STO. But I think tomorrow night STO is broadcasting Len Barker's perfect game at 7:00 pm EDT.

Peralta and Martinez both homered for Detroit in their win over Minnie today. Detroit has caught KC and is now in 2nd place in the division.

Indians' Sizemore getting other knee checked
By TOM WITHERS AP Sports Writer
Published: Wednesday, May. 11, 2011 - 2:05 pm
CLEVELAND -- Indians outfielder Grady Sizemore is undergoing an MRI on his right knee after jamming while sliding into second base.
It is not the same knee Sizemore had microfracture surgery on last season.
Sizemore hurt his knee in the sixth inning on Tuesday night but stayed in for the rest of Cleveland's 5-4 victory over Tampa Bay, the Indians' 14th straight home win. Manager Manny Acta said Sizemore's knee was sore on Wednesday and the club decided to have him checked out "for peace of mind."
Acta said the Indians' medical staff does not believe the injury is serious.
A three-time All-star, Sizemore played in just 33 games last season before having left knee surgery in June.

So I guess that means microsfracture surgery on the other knee, too
