19-21, about the same as in all other games.
April: 3-4
May: 8-2
June: 3-4
July 3-4
August 2-7.
Kind of parallels the whole seasonl.

This is starting to remind me of 2004, with the obvious difference being that the 2004 team didn't begin the season 30-15. When that team fell out of the race, it wasn't a gradual slide, it was a complete collapse.
One more thing about the usage of Perez last night, since Twitter was exploding with people going "Doesn't Acta know you can't use Chris Perez in a non-save situation??" It might not have been a
save situation last night, but it was a by-the-book
closer situation, as the game was tied entering the ninth inning and therefore there could be no save situation for the home team.
By my count, last night was the seventh time Perez has been brought into a tie game at home in the ninth or tenth inning, and the fourth time he's given up a run. In fact, four of Perez's six losses this season have come in that exact situation--giving up a run in the ninth or tenth inning of a tie game at home--which seems really high. Only two of Perez's losses have come via a blown save. However, the previous time he came on in that situation was the tenth inning of the marathon game against the Tigers two weeks ago, and that worked out OK.
Bottom line is that no manager can just take their closer out of the equation in scenarios like that based on some dopey superstition about not using your closer in non-save situations. Taking that to its illogical conclusion, Acta could find himself in the 14th-15th inning some day at home, and running out Durbin or Herrmann "because it's not a save situation."

But what may have been dopey was not letting Pestano pitch the 9th, he had only faced 2 batters in the 8th. Acta often thinks to the next game, with a doubleheader today he may have saved Pestano for use with 2 games to be played. Personally I would take one game at a time but then I am not manager material. It is a style that Acta has used quite a bit to try and save the pen because he has 2 guys that I think he does not entirely trust.
Tribe leads 1-0 after one on FUK-O-DOME double.

Tribe announcers say press box shook like a mild earthquake...I turned to the news channel and hear Earthquake in Virginia no great details but felt in Washington and OHIO too, I guess!

The rumbling in the press box wasn't the Tribe Offense coming back to life?
Is Choo back with the team or are going to play 2 more games with an arm and a half tied behind their backs?

Choo is back after birth of daughter hits a double, that one's for Abagail.
Tribe up 2-1 after 4 on Chisenhall single after 2nd double by Fukudome.

I guess Josh Jody earns Major League Minimum for the one day he's in the bullpen, about $2,600. That makes it worthwhile to drive back and forth to Columbus. Might be a different story if our AAA team was in Portland OR or Salt Lake City likes years ago and he might have to take overnight flights.

We take a 2-1 lead and, just what we needed, Masterson with a rare non-sharp game, yields up 2 and the woeful Mariners lead 3-2 half way through the ballgame.

Is the carpet unravelling? Not a good time to be slumping. I have this game in the W column. We are in a must sweep situation. We just can't go losing a series to the M's or the A's.

CIV- I know some people dont like stats but Masterson does not pitch well in day games.
