I don't want to shock anybody, but the Tigers won a game by a run. It's been at least 24 hours since that happened.

More annoyed by the fact that the Orioles blew a 5-0 lead.

Indians 2B Jason Kipnis (right side) will not start second straight game
CLEVELAND, Ohio -- Indians second baseman Jason Kipnis will not start for a second straight game because of a right-side soreness.
Kipnis is hitting .279 with six homers and 11 RBI in 18 games since being recalled from Class AAA Columbus.
At his locker early this morning, Kipnis declined to say what is hurting.
"I don't know the extent yet, either,'' he said. "I don't think it's serious. If it is anything serious, it will be out in public in due time.''
Then he reiterated: He does not think it is serious.
Later in the morning, Kipnis got more specific. He told mlb.com's Jordan Bastian that his right side is stiff and sore.
Kipnis said he is available off the bench today when the Indians are scheduled to face the Twins at Progressive Field.
Lefty David Huff, recalled from Columbus, will start for the Tribe against the Twins -- provided the weather cooperates. The Indians did not officially announce a roster move because they are waiting to see if the game will start. Foul weather is due to arrive soon.
Shelley Duncan is not listed on the Tribe's list of 25 players eligible to play today, so Duncan would be the corresponding roster move for Huff.
Kipnis said he thinks the side issues began Tuesday night during the Tribe's 14-inning victory over the Tigers. The next night, he went 5-for-5 with one homer, three RBI and four runs in a victory.
Jason Donald replaces Kipnis in the lineup for the second day in a row. Donald went 2-for-4 with a triple and run Saturday in the Tribe's 3-1 victory over Minnesota.

Super to not play, still pick up a 1/2 game, and then get another day to rest Kipnis, Hafner, Cabrera and the rest of our troops.
September is coming in a couple weeks, and we're still in this thing.
Pretty darned nice for this Tribe Fan.
