5-4 Tigers, and Baltimore has 6 outs to work with at home.

Orioles have a base runner in their 9th with no outs. Still 5-4.


Runner steals 2nd, as the batter K's for the first out.

Hit deep to Action Jackson again.

Two down, and the tying Bird moves to 3rd with two down.


No dice.

Patton, despite his pearl handled sidearms, takes the loss for Baltimore.

We hold at 3 games out, but it sure is nice to do meaningful scoreboard watching in mid-August of a Cleveland Indians season.
