I love Pronk just staying within himself and doing what is needed at the plate in each situation recently. That's not always the Pronk of old I recall.

FukUDoMe keeps it alive with a single putting runners on 1st and 3rd with 2 outs.

For the uninitiated to horse racing, "breaks his/her maiden" refers to a horse of any sex winning the first career race.

By the way, that apprentice jockey who fell off his horse at Del Mar is going to be OK. He went down in front of multiple other 1,200 pound horses who fortunately mostly evaded him on the ground. Just a wrist injury.

He literally did just fall off. His foot came out of the irons and he fell off as his horse happily continued on without him.

He's at least hobbled. He took a hard ball on his foot while batting early in the game but stayed in. When he later ran the bases it was more of a fast walk. Announcers think the heel is hurting him.

It's a warm night. With the 7 run lead I'd let Jimenez start the 8th and give him 12 pitches or until the 2nd runner gets on.
