CIV: You live in the Akron area, right? I was wondering if you ever go to any A̶e̶r̶o̶s̶ Ducks games?

A pair of lefties starting for Columbus today: I hope someone is watching them for possible move up to Cleveland. Bruce Chen and Michael Roth with the starts. Both have been pretty decent, Marcum and Maronde, too. Maronde and Roth are on the 40 man roster so promotions are uncomplicated. The other two would require bumping someone off.
Only in AA, but Cody Anderson also on the roster has had 3 fine starts and is working today, too. He's a Righty, but I don't care which arm the pitcher uses if he's better than House.

Lindor making a serious early run for the Hot Prospect list, adds another 2 hits in the nightcap and brings the avg over 300. Single and double for Swisher.
Roth finishes 5 innings with just the 2 runs surrendered. Austin Adams and Armstrong each with a shutout inning.

single and double and walk for Naquin.
Akron won its one game. Clippers won two.

Lynchburg is only 3 innings in. Nellie Rodriguez with a 2 run homer, his 2nd. 6 of his 11 hits are for extra bases.
Mike Papi's 1-hit a game streak ended with a hitless Saturday but he has an early single today. The big guy still has managed only a pair of doubles as his only xb hits in 62 at bats.

Just realized that is the second game of two for Hillcats. Zimmer had 3 hits In the opener. NRod hit his first homer of the season in the earlier game.

Best start of his professional life for Dace Kime. He fanned 12 and walked no one in 7 2-hit scoreless innings. He's in his return year at Lake County, I think he should move up to Lynchburg; moving Adam Plutko [who pitched 1/2 season for Carolina last year] up to Akron; and moving Cody Anderson [who had a forgettable debut season at Akron] up to Columbus.
