I am old enough to have watched the Browns win in "64. I also remember running home from school in "54 just to c Dusty Rhodes hit a 260 foot home run.
I believe I was originally Tntribe1, later Tad Zaquel. What's wrong with just reading the forum. Just think it's sad that so many people left or weren't invited to continue.
Thanks for the replies! It was Tuffkat I couldn't remember. I do remember the name couch potato.
Is Don still around?
Can't we all just get along?
Dude, I respect your apparent memories, but am a bit on guard of you showing up at this again moment of Cleveland Losing, after reading Barack Obama and his government are targeting average citizens, and people with views they might not not like.

Cleveland Sucks, I have a very good memory, and I perhaps only vaguely remember YOU from your years of supposed disappearance around here.

At this moment, I of course think your are trying to emulate another persona of Rusty

Cleveland is a loser town. Mark Shapiro is a disaster.

We have a manager tossed from games more often than he has wins this month. We are in a full fall in the standings and closer to last than first.

The national headlines read that people of color can harbor three young girls as sex slaves for around a decade in a Cleveland ward and no noticed, as they were on their way to vote for Barack Obama to near 100% numbers.

The Cleveland Browns new owner is a a crook. His front office guys were fools in the 2013 draft,

Josh Gordon, one of the most productive players of Cleveland Browns in the past year, is busted for a drug infraction this week.

Chris Perez, one of the most productive players of Cleveland Indians in the past few years, is busted for a drug infraction
this week.

Apparently it takes drugs to endure in Cleveland. Only excuse I can think of for Dolan keeping Shapiro around.

Having a bad weekend? Take a few deep breaths, enjoy the outdoors, don't waste your time thinking about sports if they depress you.

I remember seeing your name on previous incarnations of this board, and occasional posts from you. Nothing wrong with just reading, but please try to post more often. I wish all the lurkers would add to the conversation.
Don Surber is on our members list, but hasn't posted since 2011.
Go Vols!

I've got nothing against Cali or anyone else. I was really gone for months, not years.
Always have been a reader. When I first started on here, I was a little intimidated by the baseball knowledge of many. The point I was trying to make is that the old forum was very active and now not very, but we had some great baseball to watch in those days.
Cali is just a little depressed about the state of Cleveland sports. Me too, though I don't follow the Cavs.

I appreciate the fact that most here are gentleman.

At the same time, TFISC is a mental case and has been for quite some time.

For years he got away with his made up stories. Now, most just know he has narcissistic personality disorder and hates all people of color. Even pasty white.

With a nod to Dusty Springfield, you do not know or own me.

Cleveland sucks, Dude.

If you continue to try to care about Cleveland sports, I assure you that YOU might not be happy.

I'm about out of this place of Cleveland Fandom and Dolan delirium for Mark Shapiro and wasting Sundays pretending to care about a Browns team with a former pussy owner and now a crook owner.

I unfortunately had to live in Chicago for two years in my career.

My fave song I played over and over back in my corporate apartment was "We've Got to Get Out of This Place."

If it's the last thing we ever do.

Been there, and done that.

Cherrypick your Tribe interests to find what you like. I think the minor leagues can be entertaining even if none of the players ever make an appearance in Cleveland. I will be promoting Sicnraf Loopstok now ad nauseum. And hoping that the kid Silento who we drafted Saturday ever gets on base since he's impossible to throw out stealing (103 of 104 this high school season).

Will the real Tribe Fan In Florida please stand up :P

The front office drives me crazy also Tribe Fan.

They made the supreme sacrifice this year. They parted with some of that cache Dolan had stored up in his vaults. Also, a big hand to MLB for making some of this happen. It remains to be seen whether or not it was spent wisely enough. I just wish they would have parted with some of that reserve last year. No secrets that I may have tried to run in a slightly different direction. The point is, they at least tried to put a decent product on the field this year. It may still be if the pitching shows up again.

You have any more of those travelogue stories left ?? :P

Jimmy Haslam is in the news a lot. I just don't c how they could have all those meetings and him not know about the kickback shortages. If he somehow escapes the scandal, I still think he would build the Browns.
This kid the tribe drafted out of Pigeon Forge High, Will Crowe is a real prospect, but he's determined to go to South Carolina. 6-3, 225, pitched them to a state title, throwing a five inning perfect game at state. Should have gone in the first couple of rounds.

Johnny Mac is back!

Cleveland Indians tonight announced that the club has acquired INF JOHN McDONALD (#7) from the Pittsburgh Pirates in exchange for a Player To Be Named Later and/or cash considerations. To make room on the club’s 40-man roster, RHP BRETT MYERS has been transferred to the 60-day disabled list. The club will announce a corresponding 25-man roster move prior to Tuesday night’s game against the Texas Rangers.
