After reading the article from Forbes, you and Ken M decided that the Dolans were either laughing or did not care about their investment.
Again rusty -- stuff it.
I block
Rusty now and have no idea what kind of pro Dolan and Shapiro drivel he posts these days.
Dolan may have spent money this off season, but he did not spend it wisely.
Nick Swisher is my not too distant relative, but Shapiro and Dolan signed too big of a check on that acquisition for The Tribe.
Travis Hafner contract like $$ that Shapiro has done before.
I hope I am wrong.
Our record shows we are loser fans in the Dolan-Shapiro-Antipasto or whatever his name his reign.

I like the offseason moves. Swisher and Bourn and Reynolds should all be helpful. Not spectacular but we'll be better with a top basestealer at the top of the lineup; a couple guys who can hit 20+ homers in the middle; much improved defensive OF. The rotation is still pretty bad but the pickup of Bauer could turn out to be very big. Team should be better but not playoff-competetive until Bauer and Carrasco are plugged into the rotation.

C'mon now. Everyone knows that TFISC is too much of an ego maniac drunk to block anyone. He could not live without knowing whether someone was talking about him or not.
This jerk even bragged about his picture being put up in the "Big Apple" back in the 70's. Are you kidding me ? Too bad you won't be reading this but we both know that you will be.
As to Husker. Who cares. Has he ever contributed anything here other then a negative grunt or threaten to leave because his feelings were hurt ? Hell, were you ever even actually here ?

Rusty your're celebrating Easter in fine form. I have unblocked for spring training, but I won't put up with that kind of mean-spirited ranting for long.

Rusty, I just unblocked you for a tad as I was sent internet notes about your social behavior around here lately. Most that have reached out to me favor you being banished, but I believe you have a right to post what you care to post.
With a nod to "Major League" and Pedro, you can "bring your sheet to me" anytime you want.
Rusty, since you have pretended to pay attention to everything here for years, you should remember that
Husker is a Navy Veteran, a good God appreciating Man, and he has over two decades on you in age.....and cared greatly for
Jim in Nebraska.
Rusty, you are really a very small, small man. Maybe not, but you've never offered up an attempt at evidence to the contrary in your personal sharings or social behavior. We talk about you occasionally when we meet in public and you hide behind your keyboard in pseudo Napoleonic style.
Yes, I did note once or twice that someone chose my pic to feature to be projected on the wall of a disco club in 1976. I was standing next to an old high school female friend dressed as a "Big Apple" for a party in the place when the photo was snapped and later presented for glimpses in later Big Apple eternity. It was a good laugh for me at the time, and it is now.
Rusty, I don't think I've ever seen your picture on even a bubble gum card, as I conjure
Lucy from
Peanuts.
I'll keep you not blocked for a day or two, hoping to see an apology from you to anyone here you might have wronged that is not me.
And yes, I still believe the Cleveland Indians franchise is cursed with the legacy of Mark Shapiro and his dead weight at present.

Well, it's time to see if Jason Giambi's juju/karma can take us to the playoffs.

Kazmir's injury calls for Tribe roster shuffling
By Jordan Bastian / MLB.com | 04/02/2013 5:30 PM ET
TORONTO -- The Indians planned on adding left-hander Scott Kazmir to their rotation prior to his outing on Saturday, but instead, they took that step a few days earlier than anticipated. The move comes in the wake of a minor injury suffered by the starting pitcher.
On Tuesday, Cleveland selected Kazmir's contract from Triple-A Columbus, adding the team's fifth starter to the Opening Day roster. To clear a spot on the active roster, the Indians optioned left-handed reliever Nick Hagadone to Triple-A.
Indians assistant general manager Mike Chernoff -- in Toronto for the season-opening set with the Blue Jays -- was scheduled to meet with reporters to discuss the move prior to Tuesday's game.
Kazmir strained an abdominal muscle during Monday's workout and might require a trip to the 15-day disabled list. By adding him to the roster now, Cleveland would be able to promote a starter who was optioned to Triple-A at the end of Spring Training.
Kazmir, 29, earned the fifth spot of the rotation as a non-roster invitee for the Indians this spring, allowing nine runs (eight earned) on 29 hits with 23 strikeouts and only three walks in 21 innings, which covers four Cactus League appearances and a pair of Minor League outings. His first start of the season was slated for Saturday against the Rays.
From 2005-08, Kazmir was a standout starter for Tampa Bay, going 45-34 with a 3.51 ERA over 689 2/3 innings and 742 strikeouts, including a league-leading 239 in '07. Kazmir then went 19-24 with a 5.54 ERA in 55 outings between 2009-11. After he went 0-5 with a 17.02 ERA in five starts at Triple-A Salt Lake in '11, he was released by the Angels.
Kazmir pitched for the Sugar Land Skeeters in the independent Atlantic League last season and for Carolina in the Puerto Rican Winter League over the offseason. He inked a Minor League contract with the Tribe during the winter and displayed a fastball in the 90-92-mph range this spring.
Hagadone, 27, posted a 0.93 ERA in 9 2/3 Cactus League innings this spring, helping him initially win a spot in Cleveland's bullpen.

I was a little surprised at this prediction by Baseball Prospectus:
Tribe chances for making the playoffs: 27.8%
Tigers-76.1%
White Sox-18.1%
Royals-12.4%
Twins-0.9%
