Good game to watch.

Offense, defense, good pitching and requisite errors to make it interesting.

And we quietly have won three series in a row.

AZ, Cincy and Yanks

We left the bases loaded in two consecutive innings, or it wouldn't have been as close as it was.

If Phelps had turned that DP last night, who knows what might have happened the rest of the game.

And for our relievers who do not get many total innings...

Pestano raised his ERA from 1.47 to 2.59 in the past two games.

He might have been the only guy hoping Cabrera would have thrown home instead of to first in the 9th.

If anyone is still looking for a late nite baseball fix, it's going to the 13th in San Francisco as 2AM approaches back east. Looks like a good chance Barry Zito will get a relief appearance.

Just to keep this remotely Cleveland Indians, I've not been much impressed with Ryan Ludwick being a possible improvement to our lineup.

31 K's thus far in this game.

Edit, now in the 14th and 36 K's in this game. No more room for the K's for Giants pitchers on the outfield wall. 19 thus far. 17 for SD

And Nate Schierholtz bounces a ball into McCovey Cove to end it in the bottom of the 14th.

Let's bounce The Blue Jays into Hudson Bay.

Spectacular game last night in Cleveland.

Dare we label the Tribe 'gritty'?

BTW- I recognize the accomplishment, but I sure am sick of the Jeter hoopla.

"The night belonged to Masterson," said Tribe manager Manny Acta. "He was able to get his fastball in on everyone. He used both sides of the plate and was unhittable pretty much."

Yankees manager Joe Girardi was equally impressed.

"Great fastball. Great sinking fastball. That's the way he does it," said Girardi. "When you face him, you're going to see 88 percent fastballs, and when he throws it at 95-96 with that movement, it's tough to square up. You don't see that very often. He has incredible movement."

Doesn't the crowd at the Prog seem a bit subdued overall?

Good game to watch.

Yeah it was. Perhaps not a huge amount of drama, but a lot of interesting plays and situations.

At some point, even cynics like myself, need to credit the front office for putting the pieces together.

Dolan is an easy target, so much so that fans can't step back and enjoy what is happening on the field.

It is so much easier to criticize than praise.

Also- AC could be blossoming into one of the best players in the game.

Grady's great catch (not to be confused with Colavito's great catch*)
