It's nights like this when I'm glad I have the MLB package. ESPN is showing the Cards-Reds, too.

Inning mercifully ends on a drive to the wall in LC.

Silver lining: game isn't nationally televised.

No excuse for that poor throw by Phelps as AC gave him a perfect feed.

However, a good defensive first baseman would have picked that throw and ended the frame.

Now in the third inning AC fields a grounder in the hole, jumps to get a force at second .

BAD NEWS ALERT!!! He rolled his ankle on the play and is trying to walk it off.

AC is staying in the game.

Damage yet to be determined.

AC left the game at some point with the ankle injury.


Obviously a huge blow if he's going to miss much game time.

Hope for the best.

Did someone need first aid?

Very speculative, but what would be the roster move if AC goes down? OC to SS?

Tribe game currently running at 6 out of 100.

In the post game presser, Acta was clearly upset with Phelps for the throwing error in the second.

Manny also expressed disappointment with Carrasco for walking 2 guys at the bottom of the EE order that inning.

He said Tribe lineup just does not match up well against a tough lefty pitcher. Might be a hint to the front office there.

He went on to say they won't know anything more about AC until tomorrow.
